16 Mar 2016

Shell has announced the start of oil production at its deepwater Parque das Conchas development.

This is the third phase of the project and consists of five producing wells with two water injection wells in the Campos Basin.

The development is expected to produce up to 20,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Shell has already extracted more than 100 million barrels from the field since 2009.
