Siemens will supply turbines for a $770 million project to build three wind farms in South Africa.
The projects will have a combined capacity to generate 360 MW of power.
Siemens has also signed a contract with Mainstream Renewable power, a clean energy developer based in Dublin. The contract cover the building of a $1.9 billion solar and wind electricity project in Africa, with construction set to begin on the projects this month.
These investments mark significant advancements for the country and its clean energy portfolio.
