Statoil has been awarded service contracts for 7 of its bases in Norway. The contracts have been awarded to NorSea Group AS, Saga Fjordbase AS and Asco Norge AS.
The scope of work for the contracts will involve terminal and warehouse services, as well as storage and pipeline handling.
The contracts will begin on 1 July 2015. Together the total value of the contracts is roughly NOK 5 billion over a 10-year period, ensuring a high level of activity and value creation over a lengthy period.
The contracts will result in great savings for Statoil’s logistical operations, as well as extending of the lifetime of its operating fields.
