Trump Insider: New administration won’t hinder renewable energy growth

15 Nov 2016
According to a Trump financial contributor, U.S president-elect Donald Trump will not move to revoke wind and solar subsidies.

“Energy is not one of the top five agenda items” on Trump’s initial agenda once he takes office in January, said the major Trump financial contributor.

Trump’s presidential transition website currently includes no details on wind and solar policies and the present framework for renewables is set to remain in place.

Despite Trump's criticism of solar power projects throughout his presidential campaign, the momentum of power sector deal flow, which has come largely from renewable energy deals, is likely to continue, according to market analysts.
