08 Mar 2016

The UAE has called on the GCC states to begin building the Gulf railway project, says Emirati Minister of Infrastructure Development, Abdullah Nuaimi.

The UAE is eager to boost the regions economy and commerce and believes the project will deliver on these objectives. The railway project will cover over 1,200 km with an investment value of $250 billion over 10 years.

The rail line will connect GCC states’ capitals and will be used to transfer people and goods, said Nuaimi.
