UK Subsea sector shows growth

10 Jul 2013

Britain’s subsea industry is now worth £8.9 billion, representing a 45% share of the £20bn global market.

Subsea UK conducted a survey which showed that 16,000 jobs have been created since 2010, bringing the total number supported by the industry to 66,000.

The subsea sector has sustained potential for growth and could be worth more than £11bn by 2016. Much of this growth can be linked to the increase in activity in the North Sea, and exports remain high, accounting for 43% of total revenues.

At Spencer Ogden we have specialist Subsea recruiters who focus on both permanent and contract roles. Click here to view any Subsea related jobs that we are currently recruiting for.
