09 Jun 2016
Unit International has secured a $4.2 billion contract to build seven natural gas power plans in Iran.

The Turkish energy company's new partnership with the Iranian Ministry of Energy will be the biggest contract granted since the partial lifting of economic sanctions in the gulf, according to officials.

Once fully operational, the seven power plants will have an installed capacity of 6GW and are expected to provide 10% of the country’s energy needs.
