Windreich sells German windfarm to Swisspower

12 Jul 2012

German wind-parks operator Windreich has closed the deal for the sale of 16.1MW of Hof windfarm in Bavaria to Swisspower Renewables.

The Hof windfarm located in Upper-Franconian district consists of eight Enercon E-82 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 2.3MW.

As per the current purchase contract, Swisspower will own seven windpower units while Windreich will continue to operate the Hof windfarm, considered the largest in Bavaria.

In April, Daimler purchased the first of the eight wind turbines.
