Aurecon and Santiago Calatrava have teamed up to build the world’s tallest tower in Dubai.
Dubai Creek Harbor tower which is owned by Emaar Properties will be approximately 3,045 feet, and structured as a central column made of concrete, supported by steel cables to protect it against all weather conditions.
“The tower will test the craftsmanship of Aurecon, as we play part in making a mark on the built fabric of mankind,” said Adrian Jones, the project’s director.
The project will cost approximately $1 billion and is scheduled for completion by 2020.
