In your role as Account Manager you are responsible for the management of sales and relationships with particular customers. You will manage the relationship with the client(s) of the account(s) that you are assigned to. As  Account Manager you will serve as the interface between the Client and the sales team. You will be a subject matter expert in your client’s processes and hiring requirements and plan how to meet their demands. In addition, you will maximise sales for the company as a result. In this role you will enjoy a high level of client exposure and autonomy to innovate and implement your ideas.

The Role

  • Fully embed into our clients to take full responsibility for implementing the day-to-day recruitment process 
  • Identifying and building strong relationships with key stakeholders 
  • Communicating with and supporting the client’s HR/In-house recruiters and hiring managers through the hiring process, adding value to their experience 
  • You will work closely with our delivery team to ensure we present high quality candidates in the most cost and time effective manner 
  • Responsible for ensuring that Spencer Ogden is penetrating all areas of the client that are relevant to our business model (geographical & vertical markets) and utilise cross divisional relationships & communication to develop cross selling opportunities 
  • The main focus of this role will be to ensure that the candidates/service we are delivering are of the best quality and fit for the client’s needs and to also ensure we are constantly increasing revenue with the client
  • Responsible for managing contract reviews, rate negotiation and ensuring that any ad hoc contractual situations are dealt with in a timely manner
  • You will have full responsibility for completing recruitment drives and to ensure we are meeting expected KPIs
  • Book regular face to face meetings with existing and target stakeholders to maintain and develop future business 
  • Present and sell Spencer Ogden’s account management and spot business services including USPs and business strategy/goals
  • Manage business pipeline to meet monthly, quarterly & annual budgetary requirements
  • Collating weekly/monthly management information data for internal and client purposes
  • Deliver consistent Team Revenue in line with targets
  • Lead, motivate and develop new and existing team members
  • Train and mentor Resourcers
  • Work with Spencer Ogden’s accounting teams to ensure that the financial relationship with your assigned accounts are positive and productive
