Ensures that activities within area of responsibility are properly authorized and recorded and are completed in a timely manner.
Reviews and prepares balance sheets, back up, and supporting documents.
Performing all month-end closing and reporting duties, ensuring to meet accounting calendar deadlines on a monthly basis.
Follows approved policies and procedures, to ensure that government directives and legislation as well as company policies are followed.
Communicate issues and suggest improvements in current process to the Finance manager on a regular basis.
Submit withholding tax, VAT, Corporate Income Tax to the revenue department timely.
Perform accounting reconciliations and submit timely for review and resolve issues timely
Liaise closely with auditors and other parties,
Filing of statutory documents, including Board meeting
Pays suppliers timely and ensure vendors are properly set up
Set up preformat in the banking system
Involve in statutory fiscal closing PND 50 and PND 51.
Prepare and submit the overseas invoices on monthly basic.
Prepare withholding tax certificates for suppliers
Support payroll processing;
Support administrative matters as assigned
Degree in Accounting.
A certified accountant.
Good knowledge in tax. (PIT/ CIT PP3, 30, 53,54,36,50,51, PND1).
Have experience in banking transactions.
Understanding of financial figures, knowledge of accounting principles,
Familiar with local GAAP
Good skills in data processing (MS Office) and accounting software (ACCPAC).
Good command of both written and spoken English.
Accounting degree and certified accountant
