You will manage and monitor a portfolio of Group assets since their development phase (financial pre-closing).
In close collaboration with the Purchasing and Legal departments, you define, negotiate and validate (signature) the contracts necessary to guarantee the success of the assets.
You control the legal and commercial compliance of the assets - financial commitments, HSE, ICPE...
You assess the impact of operational and business decisions on each SPV and all associated stakeholders.
With regard to the entire portfolio, you carry out the arbitration on the operationality of the SPVs and make all the necessary decisions.
As part of new achievements, you carry out technical arbitration on the choice of key equipment (turbine, equipment)
You make strategic decisions in advance of the project such as planning deadlines, contractual structure of assets, Opex and Capex costs
You ensure that the end of life of an asset is taken into account from the beginning of its life (development and construction phases).
You manage the documentation of assets and ensure its correct classification and the correct updating of information
You ensure the right balance between spending and performance of the assets under your control.

You keep the dashboards up to date by guaranteeing good visibility/reliability on the indicators (project financing, budget monitoring, performance, production monitoring, etc.). You monitor these indicators and take the necessary measures to correct the abuses identified.

The Sr. Project Developer will collaborate closely with colleagues at all levels of the organization to guide development strategies that will have the greatest customer impact and highest commercial value.The Sr. Project Developer will develop projects with existing and/or new customers/partners, perform project-level development to NTP, manage project schedules and budgets, review the target IRR with the Finance team to ensure goals are being met, guide projects through the interconnection process, and ensure development milestones are met. They will partner with Legal to ensure projects obtain site control and have a clear title review, collaborate with development partners and/or act individually to obtain special use permits and all other non-ministerial permits, and develop a building permit matrix with the PM team. They will ensure survey work is completed and necessary permits, real estate, and grid interconnection agreements are secured, work closely with account managers to ensure smooth collaboration and development of parcels with real estate owners, work collaboratively with the Construction teams and assist in developing SOW and EPC contracts, and identify and suggest improvements to business processes and best practices.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field, preferred with an MBA and/or advanced cost accounting experience. They should have 6+ years of Community Solar Development experience, including distributed energy projects with a focus on in-front-of-the-meter solar projects in New York. They should also have a demonstrated success in conceptualizing and developing renewable energy solutions, an understanding of all aspects of solar power development, including sitting, interconnection, permitting, construction, and financing, as well as utility/energy/grid transformation. Additionally, they should have direct experience in distribution-grid level project development, obtaining site control, acquiring interconnection services agreements, and working with Procurement to manage equipment supply chains for hitting COD goals.The Sr. Project Developer will have experience developing and delivering ISO-level battery energy storage systems, experience in ERCOT, MISO, and SPP in TX strongly preferred, and experience using enterprise software like Salesforce, Procore, and Netsuite and participating with the Software Development team to capture project information for management.
