A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Associate Director level Structural Engineer to join a tier one consultancy. You will play a key project management and management role on some of our most high profile projects in the region, primarily within the education, residential, cultural and healthcare sectors.
You will be a creative and experienced Chartered Structural Engineer with recent experience of running challenging projects both as a Project Leader and as a hands-on designer.
The candidate would be based in London and would become an integral part of the multidisciplinary design team there, working on a broad range of high profile projects in the locality.
My client is looking for candidates to be able to confidently lead a small-medium sized project team, mentoring and directing other ambitious and talented staff within the group.
The ability to lead everything that is required from a successful Project Leader - taking responsibility for planning, forecasting, monitoring, reporting and implementation of projects - with the assistance of others in the team is essential.
The role would be both outward and inward facing, with the ability to take personal ownership for the realisation of design solutions and enthuse both collaborators and colleagues alike being essential.
Excellent interpersonal behaviours with colleagues, clients and collaborators are extremely desirable, with an ability to develop positive relationships that lead to work opportunities also being beneficial.
What Is expected
Experience operating as a structural project leader on medium to large scale projects; working collaboratively with other disciplines and facing architects, clients, contractors etc.
Experience across a range of sectors.
Mobility to travel in role.
Worked in a global matrix organisation, ideally.
