Associate Director - Structural Engineer

We are working in partnership with a growing private design multidisciplinary firm, who currently have a vacancy for an Associate Director. This is a permanent position within their Structural Engineering team.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Highly motivated structural engineering Associate Director to co-lead a team of structural engineers and technicians.
  • Expected to help lead the structural engineering team and assist with the management of engineers on numerous projects, ensuring the team undertake detailed design to the required standards, deliver projects on time and profitably, manage structural engineers and technicians and take into full consideration standards and programme deadlines.
  • Financial, technical and project management control of structural engineering aspects of projects.
  • Involved in the mentoring, appraisal and development of engineers and technicians.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years post-qualification experience in structural engineering design.
  • Chartered Structural Engineer.
  • Active client portfolio.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop new and existing client relationships as well as win new business. 
  • A proven track record of successfully delivery projects and client satisfaction.
  • Proficient in the use of design tools such as Tedds, Tekla, Revit, Masterseries.
