Business Development Manager - Energy Storage / Energy Management - Midlands

Remuneration: £35-40k + Car + Uncapped Commission (OTE - £100k+)

My client, a very exciting and innovative Energy Storage & Energy Management business, are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive sales activity for the business in the Midlands. The successful Business Development Manager will be an ambitious, driven and tenacious individual who is willing to put in the work to reap the rewards.

The business are currently still in the start-up phase, but with new driven management and private equity funding, the team have huge plans to grow in 2018, meaning it's a fantastic time to join.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
*Identifying new business opportunities within retail, SME and domestic markets
*Managing and developing existing relationships with Distributors and Installers to grow sales within the channel
*Managing a pipeline of leads, and growing sales by extending network of distributors and installers
*Negotiating contracts with new partners
*Owning the sales budget for the distributor and installer channel

The Ideal Business Development Director:
*Experienced working in similar battery storage / energy storage related sales role
*Ability to deliver to target an early-stage product to while working autonomously under typical start-up constraints and pressures
*Ambition to exceed the sales target and own all marketing activities within the channel
*Professionalism and composure to build strategic relationships at senior level
*Ability to identify new opportunities and react to market trends
*Adaptability to work with stakeholders from different backgrounds, from small scale domestic to large retail business owners
