They pride themselves on providing the customers with control of how and when they consume energy by working with business leaders and internationally recognised technology partners.

The Role
The role requires an experienced Business Development manager to join an expanding team and will report to the Commercial Director. The role will revolve around managing sales campaigns to support the procurement of key corporate customers. The Business Development Manager will focus on producing best practice in all areas of sales including but not limited to:
*Produce and implement marketing and sales campaigns in line with company targets.
* Enable correct customer qualification to improve the sales process ensuring its efficient as possible.
*Meet and surpass business targets in relation to accounts won.
*Be responsible for all sales performance methods, pipeline development and management of CRM systems.
*Easily develop bespoke sales proposals to meet diverse and precise customer requirements.
*Adopt an effective selling attitude and take into consideration economic buying influences and be proactive at recommending and influencing at decision maker level.
*Use CRM system to ensure account wins.

The successful Business Development Manager will have the following:
*At least 5 years' work experience in a similar role.
*Proven experience and success in direct sales, generating new business in a business-to-business or Public Sector corporate market.
*Proven ability to develop and maintain a pipeline and build relationships at all levels.
*High level of literacy, written communication and analytical skills.
*High level of numeracy & commercial judgement.
*Self-starter with effective problem-solving abilities.
*Interest or expertise in the energy market.
*Commercial and financial knowledge.
* Excellent communication skills.

*Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject, achieving at least a 2:1
*Post-graduate education (such as a Masters') is desirable, but not essential.
