Chief Engineer (Electrical Systems & Avionics)
Are you an experienced Systems Engineer who is looking for the next step in your career? Want to work with one of the most exciting products in the Aerospace Industry?
My client based in Zurich are looking for a Chief Engineer who specialised in Electrical and Avionic Systems to join their team.
Responsibilities include:
*Providing technical leadership and mentorship across a multi-disciplinary team
*Develop and perform overall technical planning and provide airworthiness verification support
*Hep to resolve technical problems that would affect cost, schedule and aircraft systems performance
*Work closely with engineering leadership (Head of Departments) and other subject matter experts for the review and approval of engineering design solutions
*Organise, lead and report to Head of Design Organisation about technical design reviews
*Support development of technical and product roadmaps
*Facilitate the continuous improvement of a rapid-turn design-to-specification process
*Support the development of design standards and procedures
*Support Design to cost initiatives
Requirements
*Master's Degree in Engineering
*Strong experience as Chief Engineer or Senior Engineer in rotorcraft development
*Proficient knowledge in :
oEASA Part 21
oCS 27/29
oAircraft and component testing
oAircraft qualification and certification
oAircraft in-service experience
*Excellent communication in German and English, other languages are an advantage
*Proficient MS Office skills and SAP knowledge
*Self-driven and able to work under strong pressure adhering to set deadline
