Responsibility
As CEO Asia (m/f) the main responsibilities are
- In close collaboration with the german counterpart: Set-up the organizational and
administrative structures of the JV and with this of the business areas
- Built up the team of subordinates (CFO, CTO, HR, Legal Director, China Assets General
Manager)
- Execute roll out plan to design, build and operate multiple recycling plants in greater China
- Execute Resolutions, Strategic Business Direction and Plans approved by the board
- Prepare and submit jointly with other executives project proposals to the board
- In close collaboration with other executives: prepare and submit adequate financial reporting
to the board for review and approval
- Accurate and timely reporting to the managing board
- Ensuring accurate operation according to contractual agreements
- Maintain good relation with government officials and public stakeholders, gain specific licences
- Acquire and participate in public tenders
- Identify new business opportunities
- Adequate financial reporting to shareholders and other group companies
- Developing and maintaining a good and positive image of the company
- Identification of potential for additional entrepreneurial activities to further improve efficiency

Required knowledge, skills and abilities
Expertise
* Technical master's degree or comparable at an accredited university as well as longtime
(international) management and leading experience (10 years above enterprise management
and at least 5 years enterprise total management)
* Alternatively, you have a strong commercial and administrative background with an MBA or a
comparable qualification, again paired with management expertise in an industry environment.
* Business fluent in English and ideally in Mandarin or Cantonese
* Familiar with China and Hong Kong related policies and laws
* Good understanding for the public sector, have experience in cooperating with public and
governmental bodies and institutions
* Strong drive for continuous operational and logistic improvement
* Knowledge and experience in the recycling industry, recycling technology, scrap and metal
markets, and / or electronic scrap recycling are very desirable and a big advantage, but are
not necessarily required
* Profound practical project management experience
* Good understanding of financials

* Analytic, strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with high level of process orientation; ability to
rapidly grasp and structure complex processes without losing the whole out of sight
* Ability to work independently with a clear focus on cost, benefit and timelines
* Willingness to overtake operational work
* Capability to implement and further develop a coherent overall concept based on the (future)
market requirements, in line with the governmental regulations and contractual arrangements
* A consolidated concept of leading as well as the ability to establish a relational level with
others and to motivate them
* Highly motivated, enthusiastic and decisive
* Creative in problem-solving
