Our client is one of Europe's leading renewable energy developers and operators within the Renewables market and are looking to hire a highly skilled Commercial Analyst. This position is based in the South West and pays a competitive salary of £30-40,000 per annum plus an impressive benefits package. Skills & Experience required:
*Studies (i.e. in Economics, Finance or Engineering).
*Appropriate professional experience (approximately 1 to 3years) in relevant areas Analytical skills and the ability to grasp complex issues quickly.
*Depth knowledge of RWE energy markets and renewable support mechanisms.
*Excellent Xcel.
*Knowledge of VBA and / or database management (i.e. access).
*Proven track record in the development of electricity and certificate pricing models and/ or wind forecasts.
*Experience with statistical models and programs such as EViews, SPSS, SAS.
*Experience in cross-functional stakeholder management.
*Fluent English.
*Very good knowledge of at least one other language-German desirable.
*Experience with current or commodity trading and project management.
*Willingness to travel throughout Europe.

The Role:
*Regular analysis of the accuracy and effectiveness of intermittent sources.
*Production forecasts and recommendation of improvements.
*Developing of the short imbalance price curve in relevant markets and providing expert view for modelling of the long term imbalance.
*Price curve regular analysis of portfolio benefits in relevant markets developing and maintaining models.
*Detailed understanding of market framework.
*Providing support to Commercial and Commodity Managers and other functions in analysing Routes to Market.
*Structuring and negotiating necessary PPAs and developing Green Energy Marketing concepts.
*Proactively looking for commercial opportunities across markets and technologies.
