PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Support the commercial team pursuing opportunities to enhance the business around Client's crude oil assets in the Permian Basin. The team is seeking a talented candidate that can be mentored into a commercial representative.
SCOPE AND MAGNITUDE:
Position is a key part of the Crude Oil Permian Asset Team responsible for growing, maintaining, maximizing and optimizing asset profit and utilization.
POSITION FUNCTIONS:

  • Prepare assessments, economic evaluations and financial modeling of new opportunities and projects

  • Lead the project justification, write-ups and the AFE process

  • Stay up to date with industry research and monitor oil and gas development surrounding Client's existing assets

  • Collaborate with Client's operations and engineering teams during new project evaluation and execution

  • Manage well connection programs by maintaining contact with producers to monitor drilling plans

  • Assist in the annual operating plan, long range plan, and budget process

  • Provide routine updates to management on industry trends, operational results and new business development opportunities

  • Attend customer meetings and assist in negotiations of new commercial deals

  • Prepare presentations for stakeholders and board of directors

  • Attend industry conferences, social events and training events to expand network of contacts and broaden knowledge of the industry

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree with a business or engineering concentration (Finance or Economics degree a plus)

  • 5 years of midstream industry (Permian Basin experience is a plus)

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written, required

  • Economic modeling experience required

  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
