Construction Estimator - Centennial, CO

Spencer Ogden have been engaged to fill this vacancy for a confidential client in their Centennial, Colorado office.

Requirements:
*Minimum of 5 years estimating for a general contractor on commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects in the range of $1-5M
*4-year construction management or engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training or experience.
*Advanced knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control
*Ability to interpret computerized cost data and systems
*Proficiency with MS Office (specifically Excel)

Responsibilities:
*Review and incorporate historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, and productivity analysis reports into unit cost and production rates to generate estimates.
*Review Request for Proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate
*Prepare estimates by calculating complete take-off of scope of work
*Coordinate total estimating effort relevant to particular bid/project assigned
*Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimates figures
*Interface with owner, A/E, and other contractors to provide engineering and cost data regarding project feasibility
*Follow awarded contracts as assigned - may include estimating extra work items, change orders, credits; procuring material, etc.
