Verify 3rd party EPC Contractors adhere to QA/QC plans. Work with in-house engineering to provide information and attend job walks to facilitate reports from 3rd party independent engineers. Collect 3rd party EPC deliverables and either upload them to an internal data room or send them to the appropriate team member for sign-off (e.g., test reports, progress reports, etc.). Review draft invoices with 3rd party EPC Contractor and sign off on work completed. First line of defense against proposed change orders; escalating to the internal Project Manager as necessary. Proactively communicate and manage an ongoing punch list with 3rd party EPC Contractor, managing the final punch list from Mechanical Completion to completion. The Project Construction Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the pre-planning and execution for the client's renewables and power portfolio. The PM serves as the unifying agent providing leadership, management, direction, coordination, and control of the overall project in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements of The Company.This position is typically retained to manage multiple “White” or “Green I” projects per the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix.Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience. Graduation from a two-year college or university. Working knowledge of project management principles. Working Knowledge to Proficiency in Project Management, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving; Project related work experience; Risk Management; Project Leadership; Proven Collaborative Team Member.Preferred Qualifications: Graduation from a four-year college or university. Utility Technical Certifications/Training; PMI (PMP or CAPM) Certification; CMII certificates; Professional Engineer License. Working knowledge to proficiency in project related Scheduling/ Cost Controls. Experience in utility industry. Knowledge in construction management. The Project Manager may have relationships with individuals in various organizations ranging from individual contributors to Senior Department Leadership (i.e. individual contributors up to executive management).
