- Salary: $50 - 60 per hour + mileage reimbursement, W2 Employment, full benefits
This will be working with a General Contractor and LEED and energy efficiency projects throughout New Mexico.
Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Project Manager for all activities leading up to and including construction activities including permitting, project scoping, bidding and procurement, cost estimating, scheduling and planning;
Provide daily oversight and coordination of all project site construction subcontractors and activities;
Manage daily job briefings with Sub-contractors;
Manage off site storage of equipment and coordinate delivery of equipment with subcontractors;
Inspect major equipment deliveries and document any discrepancies to vendors
Review/ attend Factory Acceptance Test to ensure compliance with design/operational parameters
Review construction work plans to ensure EHS protocol is maintained;
Oversee third party inspectors as needed for inspection of the work;
Coordinate permit inspections with subcontractors and the AHJ. Insure all permit requirements are met and paperwork/records posted;
Review lift plans, including critical lift and logistic plans for all rigging activities;
Provide accurate and timely project status updates and communication to Project Team;
Provide updates of the project construction schedules with weekly look ahead summaries of critical tasks;
Assist the Project Manager with the preparation of regular project budget updates and forecasts of future costs;
Work collectively with Project Manager to ensure proper lines of communication are established, performance and production goals are met, and budgetary requirements are maintained;
Organize and participate in weekly project meetings with project management staff;
Organize and maintain project related files, drawings, materials, and correspondence;
Provide site level coordination with equipment vendors, labor subcontractors and professional services subcontractors in support of on-time, on-budget performance within the specified work scope and quality;
Prepare and present regular construction progress reporting to internal company and external customer recipients;
Oversee project expenditures and job cost accounting processes: including accuracy, submittals, documentation, approvals, NCRs, payment reporting, and cost tracking;
Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, federal, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes;
Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years construction management work experience focusing on complex facility infrastructure, industrial power, or distributed energy facility project delivery.
Proven experience with OSHA safety standards, mechanical and electrical systems development, engineering, and project management regulations, practices, and codes.
OSHA 10 Certification
Proven experience with OSHA 10 safety standards, mechanical and electrical systems development, engineering, and project management regulations, practices, and codes.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and foster positive business relationships.
Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills.
Proficient computer skills with applications including MS Word, Excel, MS Project, and cloud-based construction management software such as Procore or equivalent.
Working knowledge of API, AWS, ASME and ANSI Codes.
Working knowledge of other discipline codes (i.e.: NACE, IEEE, IBC, NRC etc.).

Your Profile A planning related post-graduate degree, or equivalent3 years' experience with the planning processes in Ireland or the UK.Ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders effectively.High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently.MS Office, MS Excel, MS Project.
