- Contract manager - France - Combined Cycle Power Plant Description: As Senior Contract Manager, you will support the Project management in the contractual management of bids and projects of a CCPP. This high level position requires a highly motivated individual with good contractual experience, capable of acting on his own initiative to protect the interests of the company. In this role, good liaison and communications with Project and functional staff will be vital for effective contractual management of the contract obligations towards the client, partners and sub-contractors. Responsible for: Lead and control the Change Management process. Lead and control the Requirement Management with the client, the partners and the sub-contractors. Act as the point of reference for the project team for all contractual matters. Review of incoming client correspondence and prepare responses to contractual correspondence. Review and approval of all outgoing correspondence to Client. Ensure that the project contracts are correctly administered. Identify and manage claims. Provide the contractual input to internal and external project reporting. Coordinate internal and external experts (tax, insurance, legal etc). Permanently support and reinforce commercial and contractual awareness amongst all participants. Requirements: Degree in an Engineering Discipline, Quantity Surveying, business studies, law and/or a masters degree; Experience (7 years minimum) in contract management of large technically and contractually complex infrastructure type contracts (energy, oil, water, transport etc), construction subcontracts and management of claims; You also have good knowledge of contract conditions and the risks associated with large construction contracts You have knowledge in associated fields such as insurance, export finance, taxation, payment and performance guarantees etc. English language required. The following are not imperative but would be an advantage; French and/or German languages.
