Contract Manager - (12 month contract)
Work with the project teams to prepare or respond to terms in tenders and advise the on business issues as requested or appropriate.
Supporting negotiations with customer and partners.
Approve or refer contract terms for approval as appropriate.
Reviewing, drafting, amending and negotiating a variety of agreements.
Participate in reviews and maintenance of standard contract templates.
Being a key interface with customers and internal stakeholders on agreements.
Instructing local Counsel across Europe and managing the advice received
Participate in ad-hoc projects for international legal function.
Essential to the role:
Prior experience working in the Nordic Region.
Fluency in Norwegian and English is essential.
Minimum 10 years' of Contract Management experience.
Previous site based experience working within Power Generation.
In depth knowledge of contract law and commercial terms and conditions.
Proven and demonstrable negotiation skills.
A recognised legal qualification such as law degree or equivalent is desirable.
Ability to draft and edit legal documentation with an attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and excellent attention to detail.
Able to effectively assess and advise on commercial risk.
