Ideally seeking a broad range of experience in PLC, HMI and SCADA products such as, Siemens, Rockwell, Omron, Schneider and others. Experience with industrial communications networks such as DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus (Serial and TCP), Profibus/Profinet amongst others is also required


Supported by a team of engineering professionals, and coupled with your strong interpersonal and problem solving skills, your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, Development, testing and commissioning of industrial automation projects
  • Manage small projects, improvements & modifications
  • Maintain site documentation
  • Identify and advise on potential improvements & solutions
  • Provide estimation support
  • On-site and off-site/remote breakdown support for a range of customers
  • Conduct on-site audits of automation technologies
  • Form strong working relationships with customers
  • Provide sound on the job advice & customer service


Skills & Experience

  • Experience in designing, developing and diagnosing PLC, RTU, HMI, SCADA and network systems
  • Ability to interpret control system design documentation
  • Self-Starter, committed to providing great customer service
  • Proactive in maintaining safe working practices
  • Sound verbal and written communication
  • Systematic approach to problem solving


Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical/Electronics or a related discipline or related trade background
  • Australian Driver's License
  • Must have the right to work in Australia


Highly Desirable

  • Understanding of Smart Building technologies, including EMS and BMS
  • Capabilities in both Batch and continuous process control
  • AutoCAD Electrical or ePlan Design Drafting
