This position is part of a corrosion/cathodic protection survey crew, working primarily in the oil and gas
industry. The crew tests and assesses the corrosion prevention systems on pipelines and tanks as
directed by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
This position assists in conducting tests, gathering data, and assessing the overall quality and integrity of
the pipeline system.

Duties include but are not limited to:
? Measuring and locating the pipelines utilizing electronic measurement equipment.
? Troubleshooting cathodic protection systems
? Performing Close Interval Cathodic Protection Surveys
? ACVG Surveys
? DCVG Surveys
? Soil Resistivity surveys
? Annual Test Station surveys
? Troubleshooting cathodic protection systems
? Installing cathodic protection systems
? Current Requirement Testing
? Interacting with clients, landowners and company management
? Maintaining equipment
The successful candidate will be required to travel within a 5 state area (company pays expenses).
Travel is generally 5 days per week. All work is conducted outdoors on the client's facilities and involves
walking pipeline rights-of-way in various types of terrain.
? The successful candidate must pass a drug test and have a clean driving record.
? The candidate must also successfully complete Operator Qualification training on the
tasks performed.
? NACE CP certification desirable, but not required.
? High school diploma or GED.
? Good communication skills.
? Work as part of a closely-knit team.
