Our client is a worldwide market leader in abrasives solutions. It is the leading UK manufacturer of precision grinding products supplying Multi National Industrial companies on a global basis. They have an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to work within the customer experience team based at our headquarters in Stafford. You will join them on their journey to world class customer service, playing a key role in enhancing their customer experience by understanding their needs and providing proactive and practical solutions in an efficient manner.
You will support the Company's sales activity by:
? Handling inbound calls from customers in a polite, helpful and knowledgeable way
? Offering prices and preparing quotations for stock and made to order products
? Entering sales orders in a timely and accurate manner
? Tracking and expediting sales orders
? Offering technical advice on a wide range of products
? Managing an account base from key account level to territory, in conjunction with an external Sales Manager
? Handling customer complaints and co-ordinating the subsequent aftersales process
? Liaising with UK and European manufacturing plants for made to order products You will need to be committed to succeeding and making a difference. You must have a minimum of 3 years previous experience in a customer service role gained ideally within a large B2B multi-national company. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required, preferably with experience of SAP. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with people at all levels are essential and you must also have the ability to work independently and accurately in a timely manner in order to meet necessary deadlines.
