DC Sales Manager
My client is seeking a DC Sales Manage for their Battery Service Sales Department leading and delivering sales strategy to new and existing customers.
Within this role you will be responsible for maximising sales avenues with customers as well as developing new revenue streams, you will use your existing business acumen as well as draw upon the excellent support service staff.
You will play a vital role within the company's efforts continue to expand within the UK Market.
Roles and Responsibilities
➢Identify and secure new business in battery products and services while developing existing business.
➢Assist all customers with technical and project queries
➢Exceed targets ensuring all KPI's are met.
➢Deliver technical support to the battery team when needed.
➢Undertake site surveys and meetings
➢Negotiate with customers regarding follow up and closure of outstanding quotations on CRM
➢Assess engineer's reports and battery impedance reports making sure that the correct service solution is being presented.
➢Ensure quotation requests are completed in a timely and professional manner
➢Ensure procedures for the Battery Service Sales team are maintained at all times.
➢Ensure that any activity, task and responsibility required by role in terms of the International Trade Compliance Regulations is managed and performed in full compliance with the company's ITC certification program itself
➢Must have a sound knowledge or understanding of the Standby Power market.
➢Must have DC Technical understanding and knowledge.
➢Have an understanding of business critical applications.
➢Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills.
➢Understanding of the UK market.
➢Minimum of 2 years Sales Experience (preferably but not essential)
➢Valid Driving Licence.
➢HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
➢Excellent financial management skills
➢Excellent organisational and time management skills
➢Excellent written and verbal communications
➢Commercially astute with first class negotiation skills.
➢Ability to successfully communicate with various departments and personnel in potentially stressful situations
➢Proven team leader with the ability to inspire top performance.
➢ Ability to prioritise.
