Our client is seeking to recruit a driven and dynamic senior consultant to join our rapidly expanding Sustainability consulting team. An exciting opportunity to join an ambitious, entrepreneurial, and expanding sustainability consultancy, working with a diverse client base to develop and support in delivering their objectives.There will be opportunities to work closely with a variety of Real Estate clients in order to advise them on the delivery of Net Zero and ESG strategies. You will be an expert on net zero and science-based targets in particular. As the Surveyor, you will: Draft and interpret specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods and procedures, determine construction methods, materials and quality standards that align with client needs. Lead teams and direct the delivery of materials, plant and equipment, and create programs for the coordination of site activities Review plans and specifications to calculate total costs and prepare detailed cost plans and estimates as tools to assist in budgetary control Trackproject and design alterations and associated variations to materials and costings Coordinating plant operations Collaborate with and support our project teams across all other Survey-related matters. The Head of ESG will be responsible for overseeing all technical delivery, proposition development, communications and business development in relation to ESG products and services. You will be part of a 250 person strong business unit and the 650 person division. You will likely of be working in a consultancy environment, possibly with some in house experience, and you'll be connected in the sustainability arena.You will have Experience in ESG roles with delivery and business development responsibilities with excellent communication skills.· Have a higher education qualification (Bachelor's Degree) in an environmental or engineering discipline, with good track record working in an environmental role, to demonstrate your knowledge.· experience in consultancy sector, with commercial awareness, but we are also interested to talk to candidates currently performing environmental roles directly within industry especially where they have a strong commercial awareness.· Able to help clients develop and execute strategies to enhance their reporting against sustainability-related reporting and disclosure frameworks / voluntary standards and ratings and rankings in particular: GRI, SASB, TCFD, FTSE4Good and CDP.· Demonstrate technical expertise across the following areas:· sustainability strategy development and processes.· Materiality assessment and gap analysis· Able to advise clients on the current and upcoming trends and developments shaping the ESG / non-financial disclosure landscape - and the organisations driving this agenda (across NGOs, IGOs, ESG ratings and rankings agencies etc.)· Must have a deep understanding of the links between climate change, business risk and value creation.· Have experience of risk analysis and an understanding of TCFD guidance and/or corporate risk reporting and scenario planning experience would be advantageous.· Have experience of identifying and developing business opportunities is desirable.· Need to hold a Full UK Driving licence for this position.
