Digital Web Designer - Glasgow
A leading global public relations and marketing agency with offices throughout the world is looking for an experienced Digital Web Designer to join their team
This role requires a creative, experienced digital designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and you will be responsible for the design of all visual content for their clients' digital projects including websites, mobile sites, infographics, animated movies, videos, dynamic slide shows and presentations.
*Produce creative visual designs, often adhering to strict brand guidelines
*Support existing projects, providing visual designs for day-to-day content changes
*Test and plan the UI and UX of all our client website and web/mobile applications
*Act as 'brand guardian' as part of a project team. Leading the design, producing concept design through to pixel perfect page design
*Work with the Account Managers to ensure client requirements can be delivered to agreed specifications and timescales
*Work as part of a cross functional team to deliver on-site elements of large scale integrated marketing campaigns
*To take a lead role in data visualisation and storytelling across a variety of mediums -social media, web, video and marketing materials.
*To create a variety of relevant assets for social media and other digital platforms
*To support the creative direction and final execution of videos to ensure a high-professional standard is achieved
Skills and Experience
*Proven experience of producing digital creative in an agency environment
*An impressive portfolio of digital work
*Strong understanding of the latest digital trends and technologies
*Fully proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and in particular, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
*Possess knowledge of SEO, analytics integration and deployment
*Strong typographic skills and a strong eye for detail
*Experience of working with back end developers and other suppliers
*Exceptional communication and organisational skills
*Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
*You should also have a grounding in design for print and be able to turn your hand to brand design, brochures, exhibitions and reports.
