Reporting to the CEO, this individual will be responsible for all New Product Introduction related business.
You will be a passionate and respected expert in NPI, holding at least 10 years' experience in managing and delivering new products into production; ideally within a complex engineered goods sector (i.e. industrial products, aerospace or automotive).
This individual will have responsibility in providing technical leadership and full end-to-end ownership of the NPI area of expertise for the business. The individual will be accountable for leading the development of knowledge and expertise to establish the business as a market leading NPI consultancy & training provider.
As a nationally recognised SME, you will promote the wider business through professional presentations, seminars, white papers and workshops.
The NPI Director will additionally play a pivotal role in the development of new and existing client relationships, assisting in the preparation of bids, proposals and tenders and driving and delivering sales.
*A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Management / Senior Management position at a complex engineered goods business (i.e. industrial products, aerospace or automotive).
*Good working knowledge of tools including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, DFMEA, QFD
*Detailed knowledge in at least several areas of the following: master scheduling / production planning / inventory planning and management / NPI process structure / programme feasibility / product and process validation / product & process definition / supplier management / product and process development tools / manufacturing readiness
*Programme Management certification
*Previous consulting experience
*Coaching experience and/or certification
*Background or experience around B2B sales
