You will be responsible for the continued origination and acquisition of UK renewable energy and storage projects, as well as playing a leading role in diversification into emerging technologies and overseas markets.
The role will see you managing a team of field based and office-based staff, committed to the origination of projects for the development team to deliver into operations. Qualifications: Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, environmental science, land use planning, business, or a related field.Demonstrate a track record in developing large-scale infrastructure projects within the energy sector, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in renewable project development, preferably in the solar and/or wind industry, and 4+ years in real estate development, environmental consulting, or engineering management within infrastructure projects.Showcase strong analytical skills and a keen business acumen.Exhibit a self-driven work ethic and the ability to lead, particularly in a development role overseeing multiple projects or transactions concurrently.Display excellent communication and negotiation skills, enabling relationship building with both internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.Proficiency in various computer applications (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Google Earth, Adobe, etc.).Adaptability to thrive in an entrepreneurial organization.Intermediate-level experience in real estate, public speaking, permitting, market assessment, contractual negotiations, and commercial agreements is advantageous.

The Project Developer will play a key role in the development of distributed-generation solar projects, with a focus on community solar. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about renewable energy and eager to make an impact right away.As the Project Developer, you will be responsible for site acquisition, permitting, interconnection, and other development activities. You will understand the market(s) you work in and develop and execute the development strategy. You will have the support of a small, close-knit development team, and you will work directly with upper management and have a high degree of autonomy.
