An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join an established and growing medium sized consultancy with 6 offices in the UK as a Director within the M&E division. The reason for this position is because the Cambridge office is the most recent office to open with the plan this year being to grow an M&E division in this office. Therefore, you will need experience leading teams, being able to work under pressure, developing new business relationships whilst maintaining the relationships you currently have and more.
As this is a new division for this office, you will be responsible for building what is in effect your own M&E business. Therefore, you will need to be a self-starter and be confident that you can bring business along with you through your existing contacts. This is a very attractive opportunity for someone who has been in there current position for a while and is now looking for a change where they can build and grow their own team.

*Building a new division for the Cambridge office
*Providing advice to the client on matters
*Have the potential to bring along business with you
*Once you have brought business along with you, continue to build new relationships with clients whilst maintaining those you already have
*Building services related degree, chartered or working towards)/ HNC or HND with appropriate design experience will be considered
*10 years' or more of design experience
*Understand clients objectives and requirements
*Membership of a professional engineering body
*Excellent client facing and management skills
*Good knowledge of statutory legislation and standards
*Commercial awareness and acumen
*Ability to potentially bring business along with you
