Due to a vast amount of growth our client is looking for an experienced Document Controller to manage the technical documentation for a number of offshore wind farms on a full time permanent basis paying circa €40,000 p/a gross + package depending on experience. Our client is a leading service provider in the offshore wind industry and this position will be based in the Niedersachsen region.

Document Controller duties and responsibilities:

  • Preparation of work instructions, risk assessments and other technical documentation for the operation of offshore wind farms
  • Describing work processes and technical issues in an understandable manner
  • Interface between technicians and customers (internally and externally) to make the technical information accessible to customers
  • Updating technical documents for new technical developments and / or new legal requirements
  • Support technical units from operations to develop technical work steps and supplementary information for documents
  • Interface to QHSE as part of the approval process

Document Controller desired experience:

  • Relevant technical expertise
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of the operation of offshore wind farms, in particular of the electrical contexts
  • Knowledge of the contracts for the corresponding projects (Logistics, management)
  • Good written and spoken English and German knowledge
  • Competent in MS Office applications
  • Team worker
