Skill sets that will stand out:-

  • An ability to understand and resolve equipment breakdowns.
  • An adaptive personality that likes change and be proactive when breakdowns occur.
  • Open to different work environments and an ability to build rapport with different sites.
  • Experience working with Hydraulics and compressed air will be considered.
  • A strong line of communication with various stakeholders to understand what is required to rectify faults.
  • Working effectively with maintenance suppliers to achieve the best quality, reliability and product support of drill equipment (Sandvik 880 or similar)

Essential criteria to apply for the position:

  • Australian recognised Trade Certificate
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working on hydraulics/ compressed air in a mining environment
  • Diesel engine diagnosis and repair experience
  • Understanding of low voltage electrical systems (desirable)
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Based in Western Australia
  • Must pass a Pre-Employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
  • NPC within 3 months
