Drilling Superintendent / Wells Team Leader

You will oversee all planning, execution and safety precautions of the Drilling Campaign and ensure that the drilling operations are being carried out according to the plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan drilling operations so as to optimize production
  • Prepare execution schedule
  • Ensure that operations at all levels is documented
  • Ensure that all the paper work, licenses and legal formalities are completed and valid
  • Ensure that safety guidelines are adhered to and install safety equipment
  • Troubleshooting in case of troubles

Skills:

  • A thorough knowledge about all the operations, requirements, risk factors and safety measures involved in oil drilling operations
  • Good communication, organization and decision making skills
  • Ability to analyse and spot problems before they become exaggerated
  • Good human and resource management capabilities
  • Strong financial sense
  • Ability to think of new and innovative ideas to optimize production
  • Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships
  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities

Key Requirements:

  • 15 Years Oil & Gas experience
  • Central / West Africa experience
  • Exploration and Development campaign experience
  • At least 5 Years Senior / Superintendent experience
