Job Title: DSP/ FPGA Engineer
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 negotiable + outstanding benefits
My client is looking for an experienced DSP/ FPGA Engineer to become an integral part of their pioneering organisation moving forward.
Project work is varied, complex and challenging so you can be assured that this will be an exciting opportunity for any Engineer wanting to further their career.
The successful candidate must come for a Communications background.
Responsibilities for the position of DSP/ FPGA Engineer
*Key tasks will include performing signal processing simulation, DSP architecture, FPGA simulation and implementation, hardware/software integration, test plan development and test execution
*Code for SDRs based on Gnu Radio
*Able to write production quality C/Python DSP for GNURadio
*Integrate IP cores such as demodulators, encoders and modulators
Requirements for the position of DSP/ FPGA Engineer
*Degree in a relevant Engineering field
*Knowledge of Software-Defined Radio (e.g. GNU Radio, USRP, DSP)
*Understanding of communications
*Experience of using Xilinx FPGAs/ SOCs
*Have thorough knowledge of RF signalling principles (e.g. filtering, modulation etc)
