Spencer Ogden are currently looking for an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer for a long term contract in Malaysia

Your main responsibilities:

- Produce power and utility calculation, cable schedule, cable block diagram, Junction box wiring drawing, Metering control panel design, Prepare RFQ document for procurement team.

- To work with mechanical designer for Junction boxes and cable tray design within the skid. - Provide basic and detailed design package in a single or multiple discipline in accordance with project requirement.

- Continuously review the requirements, design tools, E&I (test) equipment, E&I installation (incl. maintenance/certification), design methods and procedures - Strong communication skill with a focus on priorities and result

- Accuracy of work produced is fundamental to the success of this position - Both technical and commercial awareness with a Flexible and Pro-active attitude - Collaboration and communication skills in English

- To assist at all times the company achieve its dedicated aim of "Best Practice"

- To ensure all work and tasks are carried out in accordance with the Companies ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 QHSE Procedures

Your qualifications:

- Bachelor in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Instrumentation

- Minimum 3 years experience in E&I Engineering

- Knowledge of ATEX guidelines, Ex-classification, NEN / IEC standards and local guidelines

- Demonstrated self-starter - proactive in determining goals and objectives and pursuing the necessary course of action

- Multi lingual (incl. English)
