Position Overview
Client combine high-tech lithium ion batteries, software controls, state-of-the-art inverters, and cooling systems to create highly reliable regulation and support for electric utility grid and renewable energy customers world-wide, by sourcing and sinking power on demand.

As the Electrical Engineer (P.E.) on the Grid Integration Team, you will have a highly visible customer facing technical leadership role interfacing with multiple levels of management both internally and externally. This P.E. role is responsible for the technical aspects of multiple projects including definition of site requirements and designs.

The technical aspects also include electrical and mechanical system design, interconnection agreement applications, protection and control system design. This position reports to the Engineering Manager of the Grid Integration Team.

Primary Responsibilities
*Write a clear description of the project and site electrical design requirements
*Coordinate with architectural, mechanical and structural designers/engineers for a well-coordinated final project designs
*Develop plans, details, engineering calculations, and technical specifications for both new electrical designs and modifications to existing electrical installations
*Provide cost effective solutions to complex, multi-discipline engineering problems
*Ability to specify complete distribution power systems including transformers, protection and controls, and distribution panels.
*Ability to create schematic and wiring diagrams including sequence of operation instructions,
*Ability to design and specify fire, smoke and secured access systems
*Able to understand and model comprehensive electrical power coordination studies.
*Autocad drafting / micro station preferred.
*Attend job walks and meet with client representatives

Education/Experience
*Experience in power distribution and/or controls preferred
*BS in Electrical Engineering
*5 + years' experience
*PE license required, MA preferred
*Independent judgment and strong analytical skills
*Strong communication skills and computer literacy
*Experience in the design and delivery of large physical infrastructure projects
*Must enjoy field work
*Commitment to outstanding customer service
