The Project Manager (PM) reports to the V.P. of Project Operations. They coordinate with Estimating, Preconstruction Services, Field Superintendents, General Foreman, job site Foreman, Accounting personnel, General Contractors, clients, vendors and others connected to their projects. The PM is a key contributor to the overall success of the business through their effective and timely management of assigned projects. They also are key contributors to building the company brand in the construction community by developing and maintaining strong relationships and by conducting business with the highest of professional and ethical standards.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
· Manages large and complex electrical projects
· Ensures that the company's best interests are represented in all project management activities including profitability and cost control
· Establish scope of work by a complete review of plans, specs and estimates
· Through innovative and fresh thinking, find ways to increase profit percentages and overall business results
· Track /monitor releases and critical milestones for all projects
· Financial management of projects includes:
-Monitor and review Cost Reports
-Review all change orders to ensure accuracy, timely approvals and acceptable markups
-Monitor and review monthly progress billings to ensure positive cash flow
-Ensure final billing
· Supervises, coaches and mentors staff to maximize productivity, grow and develop talent to be fully aligned with the company's goals and objectives
· Promotes and supports a safe work environment ensuring all safety requirements are complied with
· Makes decisions maintaining the highest standards of ethics, consistent with all legal, code and contracting standards of conduct and in keeping with what is in the best interest of the company
· Performs site visits and monitor progress of each phase code monthly
· Keep and maintain records/information within established systems, including electronic data bases and hard copy files
· Work effectively with superintendent, foremen and other field personnel to ensure a high quality, on time, within cost project result
· Builds and develops good business relationships with architects, engineers, general contractors and other potential clients

· Minimum of 3 years as an Electrical Project Manager responsible for large and complex projects
· Proven track record of successfully managing projects
· Strong organization skills required to manage multiple projects meeting all key milestones
· Experience in building and maintaining strong professional relationships
· Ability to provide fiscal oversight to projects to include profitability and cost control
· Experience supervising and leading the work of others
· Strong written and verbal communications skills
· Ability to use technology systems to delivery business results in an efficient and effective manner
