Electrical Quality Engineer

My client is urgently seeking an MEP Quality Engineer to start as soon as possible for a contract role until March 2018! It is vital to manage the MEP works in accordance with the Works Information and deliver/handover systems to key dates. As part of the joint venture the successful Quality Engineer will report to the MEP Project Manager as part of the Fit Out / MEP team. This role is to lead and manage the Field Quality Assurance of the Electrical/ Mechanical Systems installation and commissioning of those listed below on behalf of the joint venture. This will be in accordance with the Works Information and CRL Quality Systems Procedures.
The scope of the work includes:

*Fire Mains
*Smoke Ventilation
*Hot and Cold water supplies
*Low voltage supplies and switchboards
*Station Lighting
*Fire Alarms
*Earthing, bonding and lightning protection
*Stray current control
*Cable Management Systems
*Lifts & Escalators
*Temporary Builders supplies

Quality Engineers applying are required to have:
*SMSTS - not essential.
*A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a quality engineer in the rail industry.
