Energy Data Architect - Role Description As a data-driven consulting organization, CodeGreen understands the importance of proper management, quality assurance and analytics of internal and client-facing data. The Energy Data Architect role is central to this evolution, both internally and externally. Candidates for this role will be expected to be an individual contributor to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our internal and external platforms for the purposes of driving and tracking real impacts with our clients. This position requires broad knowledge of data sources, data integration, and data flow as well as a high degree of creativity and latitude. The individual in this position should be passionate about data, the importance of high data quality, and finding creative solutions for complex and exciting problems. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, comfortable with open-ended scopes and motivated by the opportunity to improve the efficiency of systems andorganizations. An interest in sustainability, the built environment, and real estate are a definite plus. Major Responsibilities Include: · In coordination with CodeGreen's consulting practices, execute on client data reporting requirements ensuring high accuracy and impactful insights for CodeGreen's clients · Help drive the enhancements of reporting processes, data infrastructure, and reporting metrics based on client feedback and an ever-evolving sustainability reporting landscape · Identify conflicting data practice and integration issues, suggesting alternative solutions. · Analyze performance metrics, business functions and operations to determine insights and recommendations to customers · Research and identify trends in data management, sustainability, and key industry drivers · Engage with industry stakeholders to help push the values of high data quality across the sustainability industry · Offer new ideas for types of analyses and data visualizations to drive product innovation · Working across all CodeGreen consulting teams to gather and expose key metrics from team to team or system to system, to develop unique cross-disciplinary reporting · Creating processes, getting buy-in, and rolling out new initiatives or tools to ensure the data we collect from our people, processes, and systems is robust, accurate, automated, and available · Building reporting infrastructure and process designed to drive real improvement Requirements & Requisite Experience · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities. · Goal oriented and creative personality with strong interpersonal skills. · Building reporting infrastructure and process designed to drive real improvement · Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field; · Strong interest/passion towards sustainability and energy management · 4+ years of proven experience in data management systems and analytics · Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail & accuracy · Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with business teams · Versatility; ability to tackle various tasks from data entry to leading development initiatives · Experience with development and administration of BI tools (e.g. SAP, Tableau, PowerBI) · Strong knowledge and experience in data systems architecture and experience setting up and using advanced reporting databases, programs and/or software (Excel, PostgreSQL, SPSS, other SQL, BI platforms) · Demonstrated knowledge and experience in programming (Python a plus, R, C# & Excel VBA appreciated) · Knowledge of SalesForce and Amazon Web Services a plus Benefits · Medical, Dental and Vision benefits · 401k with employer match
