We are recruiting for an Engineering Supervisor to join a fast-growing nationwide FMCG company going through rapid growth and expansion.

The vacancy has a-risen for the ideal candidate with supervisory experience, looking for the chance to be a part of an exciting team within a company offering career long prospects.

As the Engineering Supervisor you will report directly to the Engineering Manager.

Main responsibilities will include:

Experience being senior or Leading teams of Engineers in a Fast Paced Manufacturing & Food Environment.
Proficiency with PLC systems and software, department including mechanical, electrical control systems
Identified opportunities and implemented solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency, equipment reliability, product quality, with consideration with regards to health and safety, food safety and environment
Ensuring all work is carried out safely & adhering to all company companies healthy & safety rules and regulations
IOSH or COSHH qualified preferably with strong understanding of health and safety practices including contractor control
Superuser of Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably SAP
Effective communicator, decisive, pro-active and self-motivated individual who works well under pressure
Essentials & Experience:

4 year apprenticeship training. Qualified to City and guilds ONC or HNC or equivalent NVQ
Siemens S7 Knowledge
Food/Manufacturing Experience
Plan day to day activities with Engineering Manager to ensure effective cover of lines in production as well as ongoing work for continuous improvement .
Maintain a flexible attitude to assisting other Team Members, offering help and sharing knowledge whenever possible.
Use problems as a learning opportunity, using the appropriate problem solving tools and techniques to lead to the desired outcome.
