French and English Speaking Environmental Advisor
My client is currently looking for an Environmental Advisor with background in Environmental Impact Assessment and Monitoring. Prior industry experience is preferred. Must be experienced, confident and assertive in providing advice and decision making.
You will be joining a French multidisciplinary engineering group that have built a reputation as one of the leading civil engineering organisations globally. Therefore, prospective candidates need to be French and English speaking. (Basic understanding of French is fine).
Job title: Environmental Advisor
Contract: 3 Months Initial (with possibility of long-term extension)
Workplace: Fully Remote (Hybrid option available – occasional trips to the France office)
Day Rate: £Competitive Day Rate based on experience

Our Client is seeking to recruit a driven and dynamic senior consultant to join there rapidly expanding Sustainability consulting team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious, entrepreneurial, and rapidly expanding sustainability consultancy, working with a diverse client base to develop and support in delivering their objectives.You will have the opportunity to work closely with a variety of Real Estate clients in order to advise them on the delivery of Net Zero and ESG strategies. you will be an expert on key sustainability topics and help to implement and manage sustainability programmes along with implementing efficiency measures. You will support the transparent reporting of ESG metrics and ensure improvements annually in industry benchmarking.Minimum Requirements- Practical experience of reporting under the GHG protocol with working knowledge ofat least one global reporting framework such as CDP, GRESB, PRI and EPRA/GRI- Carbon reduction targets and net zero pathways knowledge- TCFD experience- Demonstrable experience in the design and delivery of energy managementprogrammes within the built environment including utility data management, targetsetting, energy analysis, legislative compliance and energy auditing- Reporting internally and externally for client stakeholders experience- Clear and evident passion to drive sustainability within the built environment- Strong client relationship and management skills- Strong verbal, written and graphical communication skills- Ability to thrive in a team-focused environment- Ability to identify areas for growth within existing client programmes- Highly motivated and self-assured individual with drive for self-development- Demonstrable experience of operating within the commercial property sectorDesirable Expertise- Climate risk and scenario analysis tools experience- Knowledge of building certification standards, EPCs, BREEAM (incl BIU/RFO) andLEED- Data analytics including energy modelling and life-cycle analysis (LCA) using programmes such as IES and/or One Click- Experience of operating and utilising online data management platforms
