Our client is an Independant Power Producer (IPP) who develop, own and operate wind and solar energy power plants worldwide. Currently they own over 800MW of renewable energy assets which are either in operation or under construction and they are looking for a PV Project Manager to join their expanding world class team.
You will be responsible for providing the technical support on international pv installation projects you will also manage the contract negotiations and construction follow ups.
Neogtioation and Drafting of EPC contracts:
*Full understanding, analysis and study of the projects.
*Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and contracts' evolutions starting from the commercial proposal. Ensuring consistency of the contract clauses.
*Mapping of risks and risk allocation (PPA vs EPC, regulatory, commercial and financial risks) and submitting hedging measures in line with the client, administration and law regulations,
*Advising the project team in selecting and conducting administrative and procurement procedures relative to the projects.
*Defining, in coordination with the project team, the project budget and timeline,
*Taking charge of procurement required for execution of the project.
EPC contract management througout Project Construction:
*Planning monitoring and enforcement of timing of projects.
*Define and implement the necessary tools for anticipating and managing project risks.
*Monitoring of proper implementation of quality control plan (with local assistance from *Owner Engineering teams).
*Monitoring of proper implementation of health and safety plan.
*Review and validation of contractual milestones and associated payments.
Owners engineering management and coordination with EPC contractor:
*Selection process and contract negotiation of the Owner Engineering contracts.
*Follow up on design reviews.
*Managing trade-offs between risks (timing, quality, cost) with assistance from internal teams,
*Monitoring of quality issues raised by the Owner Engineering teams on site and proper resolution.
Coordination with all partners involved in the projects:
*With development partners.
*With local managers (resolution and impact of local issues related to land, social and environmental matters, off-taker related issues, grid interface issues) .
*With project finance team (ensure bankability of the project), helping providing construction related answers to the contemplated lenders due diligence team.
Internal reporting on all aspects of the projects:
*Project budget control and reporting
*Payment validation and follow-up
*Timing and quality of execution
*You must have a Masters Degree in Engineering
*You must have between 2-3 years experience in contract management and construction management on PV projects
*You must be autonomous, reliable, be able to communicate effectively and have exceptional problem solving skills
*You must be able to manage interactions across multi disciplinary teams and parties involved in projects on an international scale
*You MUST be fluent in French and English
