Manages the field service personnel who perform on-site tool installation.
Oversees the scheduling and training of field service representatives (time management).
Handles service contracts including charging days and cost/day, ensuring company contract compliance.
Support trouble shooting in the field, i.e.: front line support with customer in the field
Develops methods, guidelines, and policies to facilitate efficient service delivery as required, this can be in conjunction with QAQC manager.
Ensure all customer issues are satisfactorily resolved
Plan field hand resources to ensure ability to deliver quality jobs.
Work with Sales force to ensure proper preparation of each job pre-loading to the field
Act as the field technician if required
Ensure proper safety procedures are followed by field technician
Ensure all field technicians certification required by various clients are up to date and valid
Owns the job check list and Tool Schematic once hand over properly from Sales
Meet customers field representative and ensure establishing good relations with them
Communicate in writing and verbally points of improvement that may be followed by production department
Ensure proper documentation for each job before closure
Ensures supplied equipment is compatible with all other equipment used for job
Responsible for job preparation/job closures and duties that need to be handled after leaving a job site
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
