Our client is a world leader as an energy service provider. The client aims to stay as one of the leaders in energy service providers and are currently hiring for the role of a Global Category Manager Onshore/Offshore Structures paying a competitive salary. The role is based in northern Germany and is ideal for an individual with a passion for renewable energy.

Global Category Manager Onshore/Offshore Structures duties and responsibilities:
* Develop category and sub-category expertise
* Responsible for the implementation of the global category strategy for Onshore/Offshore
* Structures and all other Renewables related category strategies in close alignment with stakeholders
* Act as a constructive sparring partner to the respective business as well
* Capture stakeholder demands and requirements
* Manage the respective supplier market in terms of opening new and competitive supply channels, development and standardization of suppliers
* Manage the operational sourcing process (including demand/market analysis, RFI, RFPs, Negotiations, Contracting and Supplier Implementation) in close collaboration with key stakeholders
* Act as the focal point of contact to suppliers in sourcing process and coordinate interfaces with Business Teams, Finance and Commercial Teams, Technical Teams, Legal Department and HSE Department
* Manage purchase orders, variations orders, invoice workflow and documentation in SAP

Global Category Manager Onshore/Offshore Structures desired experience:
* Ideally minimum 5 years of experience in operational and strategic procurement/contract management roles in high CAPEX Development and Construction projects
* Experience in drafting, negotiating and contract management of high value and high risk major construction project contracts
* Experience in implementing global category strategies
* Experience in applying efficient procurement processes, structures and analytical tools
* Ideally experience in negotiating and working on FIDIC or FIDIC based contracts
* Experience in working within cross-site and international category teams
* Experience in dealing with various stakeholders and demand carriers
* Experience in management of global supplier relations
* Ideally experience in an intercultural working environment
