Job Summary

This is an opportunity for a dynamic graduate to join an internationally renowned Defence organisation. The solutions you will design will be utilised by National Governments and Armed Forces worldwide to assist with the nullification of current and emerging threats.

My client is looking for a graduate with a 2:1 or above in any of the following: mathematics, engineering or physics as the role will involve a large amount of Maths. The successful graduate will need to have a working knowledge of C# with exposure to C++, C, Python, Xamarin and SQL also being an advantage.
The successful candidate will also be enrolled into the businesses Graduate Training Programme where you will be given extensive personal development.



*Knowledge of C++ and .NET
*Be able to confidently design and implement solutions from high level descriptions
*Be able to demonstrate good communication skills, both verbal and written
*Be able to demonstrate knowledge of and preferably have experience of working in an agile scrum team and appreciate a design-for-change approach to software development
*Be able to demonstrate an understanding of source controls systems and branching


*Experience of using UML
*An appreciation of Geographic Information System technology including common coordinate systems, coordinate projection and raster and vector data formats
*Experience of developing near-real time applications for both Windows and Android operating systems
*An aptitude for developing approaches to presentation and processing of large data sets
*Experience of developing DSP algorithms or implementation
*Knowledge of CI technology and processes
