Position is based in Shah Alam, Malaysia. Incumbent will have sales responsibility for the countries MY&SG, for the Business segment Coating & Printing, and Distributor Management for the entire sub-region SEAP; Sustainable Management of NWC in MY&SG; Site Manager Shah Alam


Responsibilities:



Sales and Business Development, Malaysia and Singapore

Meet budget objectives for the countries Malaysia and Singapore by managing customer, product mix, pricing and cost
Manage the Net Working Capital in the countries Malaysia and Singapore
Enforce SG&A cost control in the countries Malaysia and Singapore
Customer relationship management on senior level across BS in Malaysia and Singapore
Execute business strategy: implementation of SMP into the countries (Malaysia and Singaproe) and develop initiatives
Sustainably implement CSM/CRM and the transactional pricing process in the countries Malaysia and Singapore
Coordinates the local order to cash and demand planning process in tight cooperation with Customer Service Desk (CSD)/Global Business Services (GBS)and Supply Chain Management (SCM)


Sales and Account Management Coating and Printing, Malaysia and Singapore

Meet budget for the Coating & Printing in Malaysia and Singapore by managing customer, product mix, pricing and cost
Customer relationship management as Head of Sales for Coating and Printing
Develop business opportunties pipeline and ensure project management with Technical Service and Head of Business Segment


Distributor Management, S. E. Asia & Pacific

Define objectives for appointed Distributors of SEAP in alignment with Business Segments and Countries
Conduct quarterly performance reviews
Regularly assess new and appointed distributors, select new distributors and manage transfer
Negotiate contracts, terms & conditions in alignment with Head of Sales SEAP; settle pricing


Site Management, Shah Alam

Enforce corporate governance at Shah Alam site in tight alignment with the Head of Region SEAP/Country President Malaysia
Develops the site according to the BU strategy and requirements of regional management


People Management

Conduct regular performance reviews and feedback meetings,
Ensure people development and succession planning in tight alignment with supervisor
Lead employees in line with management principles of the company; mentorship for all Sales Managers in Malaysia and Singapore


Requirements:

Education

Graduate of Business management, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering

Business Experience

Minimum 10 years experience in Sales and Marketing management; technical backround of advantage (preferably in Paints & Coatings)
